We are excited to celebrate that ARIASE has experienced membership growth in 2025 — an incredible testament to our outreach, advocacy, and engagement efforts. This includes our highest CASE membership of all time. This momentum reflects the value that ARIASE & CASE brings to leaders in every corner of the Rhode Islan.
For over 50 years, the Association of Rhode Island Administrators of Special Education (ARIASE) has stood as a cornerstone of educational leadership in Rhode Island, advocating tirelessly for the needs of students. Dedicated to supporting RI Administrators of Sped, ARIASE promotes collaboration among Superintendents, Principals, family support organizations, and essential state agencies to enhance Rhode Island’s educational landscape.
ARIASE actively monitors and influences legislative developments at both state and federal levels. Our strong connection with the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE)—part of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)—enhances our national presence and informs our special education advocacy with broader perspectives and best practices.
Key initiatives include influencing the exchange of information on statewide initiatives and policy development, enhancing professional and community partnerships, and providing meaningful professional development opportunities.
As the collective voice for special education in Rhode Island, ARIASE champions policies, instruction, and innovations that align with best practices in 21st Century Learning. We take pride in leading with integrity, mentorship, and collegiality, ensuring every child in Rhode Island has access to a high-quality education that supports their unique needs and full potential.
